The Size of Planets
There is an anthological discussion on if the size it matters or no. I can assure to Them that the size matters, and much. As we can feel us great compared with a mouse, we felt small near a skyscraper and we do not say already comparing to us with our planet, the Earth.
The Earth third planet of the Solar System, considering its distance to the Sun, and fifth of them according to its size. It is the unique planet of the universe that knows in that it exists and the life is originated. Its surface is of 510.065.284, 702 km2s.
If the Earth seems to them great, observe these images of sizes of planets and stars that do not have waste.
Jupiter is the fifth planet of the Solar System. Form leaves from denominated outer or gaseous planets. It receives his name of the Roman God Jupiter (Zeus in Greek mythology).
It is after the Sun the greater celestial body of the Solar System, with a mass of more than 310 times the terrestrial one, and a diameter 11 times greater.
The Sun is the star of the planetary system in which is the Earth; therefore, he is the nearest the Earth and star with greater apparent brightness. Their presence or its absence in the sky determines, respectively, the day and the night. Its diameter is of 1 392 000 km (~1,4·109 ms).
Arthur (of the Greek Αρκτoυoρo, “the caretaker of the bears”) is the main star of the constellation of the Cowherd (α Bootis).
It owns a radius 23 times superior to the Sun and a luminosity of 116 times superior to this one.

Antares is the own name of the star α Scorpii, the star most shining of the constellation of Escorpio.
Its name derives from the Greek anti You plow and means the rival of You plow or the opposite one to You plow, due to its reddish color, by which nocturne with the Mars planet competed in the sky, symbol of the God You plow.
One is a red supergiant, whose radio is of 624 million km, a distance similar to which separates the Mars orbit of the Sun.
And now that opinaís?
The size matters or no?
How great are you?
How great they are the things that trouble to you today?
